Just past 1:00 PM on September 12, 2005 Disney opened the gates to Disnyland, Hong Kong. The 318-acre park took six years to construct at a cost of 3.5 billion dollars.

There are aproximately 150 million people living within 300-mile (482-kilometer) radius of Disneyland.
