Former Beetle George Harrison Dies at 58

On November 29th, 2001 in the Los Angeles home of a friend, former Beetle George Harrison died after loosing his battle with Cancer. Born February 25th, 1943; George was best remembered as a member of the Beatles until their break-up in 1970 after which he went onto a successful solo career. George is survived by his wife Olivia and son Dhani, who was with him at the time of his death. Following his death, his ashes were spread in the Ganges River in India.
