The Queen Mother Dies At 101

After a short period of declining health Britain's Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth died on March 30th. Born on August 4, 1900, the daughter of a Scottish Earl, she was the wife of King George VI and mother to Queen Elizabeth II. She died peacefully at the Royal Lodge, Windsor at the age of 101 years old.
