First Person to Jump The Great Wall of China On A Skateboard

Skateboarder, Danny Way became the first person to jump the Great Wall of China without motorized aid, on Saturday July 9th, 2005. Way made the jump using a massive ramp that allowed him to reach a speed of almost 50 miles per hour before jumping 61 feet over the wall.

Way is the current world record holder for longest skateboard jump, at 79 feet (set in 2004) and highest, at 23.5 feet (set in 2003).
