Ferrari Honours America At Monza

Following the tragedy of September 11th, 2001 Ferrari, in a gesture of sympathy and support, removed all the sponsor logos from their cars and raced the Italian Grand Prix (run the weekend immediately following the tragedy) with plain red cars with flat black noses. Only the Ferrari prancing horse emblem was on the nose of the car.
