For the second year in a row retail giant Wal-Mart set a new one-day sales record on the day after Thanksgiving. Wal-Mart set the new record at $1.43 billion in sales on Friday November 29, 2002 at its thousands of U.S. stores, which include Sam's Clubs.

Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the world.
