Just days after the murders L.A. Police follow O.J. Simpson in a white Ford Bronco, driven by his friend and former team-mate Al Cowlings, for an hour in a slow speed chase on June 17, 1994. The chase was carried on live television across the nation and would be the first chapter in a national obsession with every facet of the trial against O.J. Simpson.

An hour after it began, Cowlings pulled into Simpson's Rockingham estate just before 8:00 p.m.. After an hour of negotiation O.J. surrendered.
